The purpose of this role is to manage Clients and coordinate dentsu specialist resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the activities; proactively identify client opportunities, manage; must proactively and positively collaborate with the CM team by sharing and aligning their activities with the client director, other business partners and client managers on the account; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.

- The purpose of this role is to manage Clients and coordinate dentsu specialist resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the activities; proactively identify client opportunities, manage; must proactively and positively collaborate with the CM team by sharing and aligning their activities with the client director, other business partners and client managers on the account; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.
- Client governance & growth- Manage the Business - delivers the service proposition to clients and full end to end management of the business on individual clients- Proactively Identifies Client Development Opportunities - flags specific client cross sell and upsell opportunities, in alignment with Client Director- Liaises frequently with Media Relations, Trading and Programmatic counterpart to ensure planning proposition is aligned with trading priorities- Seeks understanding of clients’ fee models to maximize business revenue- Develops best practice and more efficient ways of working and to ensure this is interfaces positively and continuously with the rest of the Client Management team and the Activation teams or the other Media/Practices units- Articulates broader purpose and vision with their teams and their collective role in achieving this (the ‘what’ and the ‘why’)- Builds shared understanding of purpose and mission, encouraging others to find purpose in what they do. Energizes Client ‘teams to deliver the strategy and purpose- Maintain positive relations with different internal stakeholders to maximize the clients’ objectives and dentsu culture and ensure the experience they have had with us at dentsu lasts throughout their career and beyond- Have a clear vision of the client contractual terms to match the agreed SoW (services, buying, business objectives)
- Client Relationship- Relationship Management - owns the client relationships as per the defined relationship strategy for the client- Grant client satisfaction while expanding existing revenue streams and build new ones- Partner all team members across different verticals to ensure they also build strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding client service Demonstrates understanding of clients’ total needs; anticipates upcoming needs or concerns. Asks probing questions to deepen understanding of the client’s needs, issues and expectations. Proactively engages the client with up-to-date industry news or trends that affect them- Actively engages and works with other teams; encourages others to collaborate. Leverages the full range of capabilities that exist within area of responsibility Promotes the value of collaboration between teams- Builds and leverages networks within area of responsibility; proactively seeks to expand network. Accommodates the styles of others. Gains commitment through negotiation and persuasion, seeking to create ‘win-win’ scenarios- Shapes strong new client propositions; finds new ways to add value. Builds ‘trusted adviser’ connections with clients. Actively finds ways to improve client satisfaction.
