Overview:
IDC’s European Government Consulting (DC4EU) is looking for an Intern to support our project management of studies and projects on ICT research, innovation and market development, funded by the European Commission. The intern will also be expected to support the preparation of proposals responding to European Commission calls. He/she will have the opportunity to learn the main skills of an international market analyst including writing and public speaking. The role is based in Milan, with some traveling in Europe.

While engaging with IDC’s European Government Consulting, the intern will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the highly innovative and impactful environment of global market research and consulting, with specific focus on EU digital policies and EC funded research & innovation engagements. He/she will be contributing on deliverables and working with international team of IDC analysts and partners.

**Lenght of internship**: Ideally 6 months, full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide operational support to project management of European studies and projects, including organizing meetings, workshops, preparing minutes, draft presentations, formatting and editing reports;
- Provide operational support to proposals preparation with a specific focus on administrative documentation;
- Manage updating of content and communication flows on projects websites, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, others;
- Support the design and implementation of online surveys, partners/contacts databases and engagement activities;
- Carry out top-level desk research on EU digital policies and package results into Power Point presentations and Excel databases;
- Have good teamwork, self-organization and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must;
- Degree in Political Sciences or Economics or Marketing Communication;
- Good working knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
