**Molecular Biology Scientist**:
We are currently seeking a Molecular Biology Scientist with a strong background in molecular biology concepts such as gene regulation, splicing, epigenetics, RNA biology and genetically encoded reporters (e.g. GFPs; luciferases etc.) and good experience in:
Gene expression analysis; RNA isolation, RT-qPCR (from primer design to data analysis, in particular with TaqMan assays).
Genomic analysis, genome browser software tools, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing.
Cloning, plasmid-based constructs design and generation. DNA preparations.
Using databases for DNA and protein analysis.
Sanger and NGS technologies, bioinformatics data analysis.

She/he will join a team of scientists responsible for the development of the molecular biology tools necessary for executing cell-based and biochemical assays. She/he will be expected to strictly adhere to company SOPs when performing lab functions, maintaining paperwork and batch records.

Willing to perform high-profile molecular biology projects, as well as routine tasks.

Capability to implement approaches from literature.
Practice with set up and data output of TaqMan based RNA analysis.
Knowledge of high throughput RNA expression analysis as Chip and RNA-Seq technologies.
Practice with automated liquid handling systems.
Attitude towards automated processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access database.
Experience in recombinant protein expression or generation of stable cells.
Good spoken and written English.
Good presentation skills
