**Position**:
The Purchasing Director is responsible for managing the centralized purchasing and supports the purchasing management of divisional commodities and services for the Headquarter and the Subsidiaries, following guidelines provided by LVMH. Handles issues of risk management and Intellectual Property (IP) policies, working with the Legal Team.

**Purchases**
- Is responsible for setting the standards for centralized purchasing, liaising with the Functions involved.
- Manages relations with suppliers, finalizing the negotiations and defining the framework contracts in collaboration with the Legal Team.
- Is responsible for liaising with LVMH in order to detect and possibly to generate synergies of the Group.
- Looks for new opportunities for savings and/or improvements of services, both for centralized purchasing and for those divisional, providing technical and negotiating expertise.
- Supporting in risk management and claim management activities, complying with LVMH policies at worldwide level.
- Supports the LVMH risk management in defining and implementing the risk analysis and loss prevention policies in the Loro Piana plants, liaising with the divisional Supply Chain for any possible activity of prevention and monitoring.
- Scouting the market for new and innovative services and solutions.

**Ad hoc projects and activities**
- Collaborates in the implementation of new procedures within the accounts payable and manages the maintenance of the current ones, supporting the Administration Italy, the divisional Management Control, the IT and the Internal Control.
- Is responsible or collaborates, depending on the area of interest, in the implementation of projects in supply and risk management fields (business continuity, supplier sustainability) established by the LVMH Group, defining priorities and main responsibilities and collaborating with the Luxury Goods Division Supply Chain, the Textile Division Operations and the Raw Material Purchases Department.
- Supports the activities of definition and implementation of policies concerning the company cars, the employee benefit insurance area and the business travel, identifying the main suppliers, negotiating the economic conditions, providing technical expertise and collaborating with the HR and Payroll Team.

**Profile**:

- Degree in Economics/Business Administration or Engineering
- At least 10 years of work experience in Purchases and/or Supply Chain Functions of structured and multinational companies
- Excellent project management skills
- Team working skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, SAP MM experience preferred
- Fluent English, both spoken and written; additional fluency in French is a plus
