manage in autonomy all accounting, treasury and reporting activities, in particular daily accounting, monthly closing process to prepare the financial statement for the group purpose, and year-end statutory reporting
- prepare the current and deferred tax calculation for the statutory financial statement and review the monthly VAT posting
- analyze and present to the Corporate Finance team the monthly/quarterly financial results (package), ensuring timely and efficient follow-up
- be involved in every financial audits (internal, external, tax, etc.)
- ensure continue monitoring and identification of process improvement opportunities
- develop complete written procedures clearly defining accounting processes
- manage operationally the relationship with the company's bank
- support the credit management activity with the analysis of the aging balance and the identification of the possible actions in order to recover the overdue position and direct involvement in the Order to Cash process improvement
- provide support with ad-hoc financial analysis, preparing presentations, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in accounting or closely related field
- Essential minimum 5-7 years of experience in Accounting Department of multinational companies, with proven ability to fulfill accounting/tax requirements in autonomy - pharmaceutical industries is a plus
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.);
- Experienced in financial business processes; financial reporting, accounting, including group intercompany activities and legal/tax requirements
- Advanced computer/systems skills, SAP knowledge is mandatory
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Willing to work independently, to accept ownership of accounting responsibilities
- Practical experience with service providers and stakeholders
- Customer centric, able to work under pressure and to balance different priorities
