For a Multinational Company operating in Life Science Sector, we are looking for the:
**CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL & SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER**:
**Main responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Global HSE Director, the role is in charge of developing, implementing and managing environmental and sustainability strategies across the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement an environmental and sustainability strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, policies and standards at all levels of the organization.
- Monitor and analyze key environmental metrics and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and evaluate sustainability risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental and sustainability considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and understanding of environmental and sustainability practices among employees.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry groups and community organizations.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in environmental management and sustainability and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on environmental and sustainability performance for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and board of directors.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a passion for driving positive change.

Educational Knowledge and competencies:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UN Global Compact framwork.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies.
- Strong track record of driving positive change
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams at various levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications in environmental management or sustainability (e.g., ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, LEED Accredited Professional) are a plus.
