Mechanical Inspector

Overview:
**Scope of Work**:Oversee shipyard activity to ensure that the ARUs are correctly integrated into the vessel structure and that all works executed by the Shipyard conform to customer installation requirements, specifically but not limited to:

- Installation works conform with the highest standards of safety.
- Installation works conform with best industry practice and followClass requirements and contract placed by customer
- Dimensional checks (Positioning, Alignment, Deflection) are witnessed and reported
- Quality tests (dimensional checks, X-Ray, Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging, Dye Penetrant test, leak testing) are witnessed and reported
- Welding seams grinding are ground as per customer requirements
- Anodes and deflector plates are installed correctly, and putty is applied as per Silverstream requirements
- Dimensional checks (positioning, alignments, deflections, deflector plate clearances) are witnessed and reported
- Coating is correctly applied
- Expediting and reporting on progress

**Deliverables**:The following reports shall be compiled and submitted to Silverstream for acceptance:

- Daily report of activities
- Checklist completion
- Final completion report
- Photo archive
