we're currently looking for an **IT Risk specialist (M/F/d)**, full time, remotely based for a 3 to 12 months mission, working in our a dynamic environment.

Our customer is an international mechanical engineering company with more than 40.000 employees in 70 countries. They were formed in a carve out and are currently in a build up phase, including all things IT risk management.

Your job will be to help them with various projects to ensure that IT risks are identified and properly managed.

Start: asap

Duration: up to 12 months, by quarterly contract extension.

Location: remote **(Work and Travel in Germany)**

**Main accountabilities**
- Perform risk analysis, business impact analysis, lead risk assessments. Identify, qualify and prioritize IT risks.
- Develop and provide risk (reporting) content for various operational and senior-leadership meetings, briefings and dashboards. Develop and refine key risk indicators.
- Support and partner with other IT & non-IT teams on IT risk management matters. Guide and advise partner teams on relevant risk management processes and risk reduction strategies.
- Develop/contribute content for program materials (i.e. strategy, procedures, policies, training) and other supporting documentation.

**Profile**:
**Education**:

- Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems or Business Administration.
- Experience Level
- 7-10 years of professional working experience in areas of IT Risk Management ideally, or IT Audit, or IT Continuity Management.

Professional Experience:

- Proven understanding of risk assessment, business impact analysis, third party risk assessment, risk management procedures and methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management
- Preferably Certified in ITIL, Risk & Information System Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (CIRM).
- Experience working in global matrix environments and globally dispersed teams.

**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in the use of Office 365 and good working knowledge of SharePoint.
- Risk management tooling experience, ideally with the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management module.

**Soft Skills**
- Collaborative and structured approach to work. Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to build relationships and establish effective networks.
- High degree of flexibility, creativity, and reliability as well as the ability to communicate at all levels and convey IT information and processes in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong command of English, including excellent writing and presentation skills.
