Sr. Risk Professional On Esg and Climate

Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

Within the Risk Operating Framework area we are looking for a Sr. Risk Professional for ORSA, Policy and Governance. The Policy, ORSA and Governance Team within Group Risk Management is responsible for:

- Coordinating ORSA process at Group level
- Coordinating Risk Management Policy at Group level
- Identifying and assessing Emerging and Sustainability ESG risk
- Coordinating Climate Change Risk Group Framework
- Supporting the development of the Group Climate Change Risk Model, based on climate scenarios, with the definition of climate risk factors levels and their impacts on Group exposures
- Supporting assessment and quantification of Climate Change Risk at Group level and cascading to BUs

Our ideal canidate will meet the following requirements:
**Must have**
- Knowledge of Financial industry, industry best practices and regulatory requirements for risk management, with focus on Financial and Underwriting Risks
- Understanding of ESG related topics
- Bachelor and Master Degree in Maths, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Solid and proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and programming languages (eg. VBA, Python, JavaScript etc.)
- 3+ years of work experience in the financial /insurance industry

**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of Climate Risk models
- Knowledge and interest on sustainability or ESG related topics
- Planning and organization skills
- Italian language knowledge
- Second European foreign language such as French, German, Spanish

**Soft skills**
- Proficiency in performing multiple tasks and dealing with dynamic deadline requirements, performing in stressed conditions
- Structured and self-organized
- Proactive approach, strong achievement and result oriented
- Have a collaborative mind-set with strong interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comfortably communicate at all levels of the organization
- Capable of developing independent opinion and defending their own views upon challenge
