Financial Controller

**Posizione**:
**ROLE GOAL**:
The role has to support local subsidiaries and/or HQ departments in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting by delivering financial insight to enable business decisions.

He/she will reports to the **Group Planning & Controlling Manager.**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES**:
He/She will manage the business controlling activities of the assigned department by:

- Manage the preparation of all internal reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly, annual budgeting and periodical forecasting, ensuring a timely and qualitative delivery;
- Provide in-depth analysis with qualitative comments on data and variances;
- Constantly liaise with Carel Group subsidiaries or HQ departments in the coordination of planning processes and periodical closures, in order to guarantee the deadlines defined;
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify recommended actions and support decision-making;
- Collaborating with the IT department to strengthen and develop financial modelling and reporting.

**Requisiti**:

- Master Degree in Economics and Management or equivalent education, Finance & Control system, Management Engineering and/or specific Business Economics qualifications;
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a multinational company and/or in a consulting firm;
- Ability to use controlling and data mining tools, advanced use of Excel (i.e. pivots, macros etc.). Proficiency with HFM, Hyperion, Oracle Business Intelligence would be preferred;
- A mind for analysis: precise, effective, high catching;
- Determination to achieve the objectives, flexibility, enthusiasm;
- Ability to partner with the business with a problem solving approach and excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Be comfortable to deal with top level management and to work under pressure;
- Ability to travel and fluency in English.
