The **String Testing Mechanical Design Technical Leader**oversees the mechanical, piping, structural design activity for whole mechanical design team inside the String Test cell. In the daily work He/she responsible to coordinate and supervise test plant conceptual design development adhering to business / customers’ requirements, such as: thermodynamics test condition evaluation; P&ID definition; plant system & mechanical layouts; piping design; structure design.

In is mission He/She is also responsible to deploy capacity& capability String testing cell strategy; drive **#Decarbonization** initiatives following programs with partner University; promote **#Digitalization** & **#Improvement** of test methodology, processes, and procedures.

As **Mechanical Design Technical Leader**you will be responsible for:

- Coordinate and supervise test plant design (thermodynamic and mechanical) for turbo-compressors, electric motor-compressor, and turbo-generator packages: such as conceptual P&ID diagrams, thermodynamic test definition, piping design (including stress analysis), structure design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to mechanical engineers maintaining adherence to customer requirements and business design practice
- Ensure that design solution are in line with applicable national and international regulatory standards such as Machine Directive, PED, ATEX, ASME, SIL
- Oversees whole design process and, as technical leader, guide discipline design reviews with accountability to define and drive technical solution, assuring that Lesson Learned are captured in the assigned design.
- Manage mechanical discipline workload according to internal / external capacity with aim to maintain projects on time delivery
- Deploy string test strategy related to capacity / capability improvements: P&E and asset upgrades
- Contribute, with String test engineering leader, to kept engineering spent hours aligned to job budget
- Provide technical assistance on test field during plant erection.
- Guide, with String testing engineering leader, processes / improvement rewiring initiatives.
- Drive design to maintain HSE & Quality standard
- Deploy String testing digital roadmap for engineer team and planning
- Deploy String Test cell **#carbon
- out** strategy with reference to Mechanical system integration both with test facility and national grid lines.

- Demonstrate ability to manage high level stakeholder, in particular Customer one, and to define proper communication plan inside matrix organization.
- Be an experienced problem solver, with analytical approach identifying root causes and implementing improvements solutions
- Display a good knowledge of Mechanical System integration in turbo-machinery plants and commissioning operations.
- Be fluent in English and Italian languages and be able to work in EU
