The Role
The purpose of the role is to facilitate the timely collection of the receivable’s ledger for our customers and to minimize the aged debt. You will need to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers, ensuring that billing issues are kept to a minimum and queries resolved quickly and efficiently so as to ensure prompt payment.
Your Impact:
- Maintaining collections accounts current and collecting assigned past due accounts.
- Evaluates customer's credit file and contacts their other creditors in order to determine current trends and payment patterns.
- Recommends to the manager that accounts be closed, credit limit reduced or extended, or collection attempted, based on payment history and purchase activity of the customer.
- Manage back and across the business in the Italy and Europe, and will have strong negotiating skills and a high level of patience and professionalism.
- Enlist the support of sales and senior management where required so as to accelerate the collection process
- Set up payment plans where required and appropriate charges levied.
- Provide reporting information, as required by the business, to give visibility of credit status and potential areas of risk
- Correcting and approving invoice payment terms for new and existing accounts

We would Love to Hear from People with:
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience in credit control role is welcomed
- Ability to work in fast-paced environemnet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good command of English is essential
- There will be occasional travel
