We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commodity Buyer to join our team in the Milan Area. As a Commodity Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing commodities for our business operations. You will play a crucial role in optimizing costs, ensuring a reliable supply chain, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

**THE TASKS AWAITING YOU**:

- Develop and execute commodity strategy to meet the company's cost, quality, and delivery objectives
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships to secure the best terms and conditions
- Scout new suppliers and opportunities for the assigned commodities
- Monitor market trends, assess risks, and proactively anticipate changes in commodity prices and availability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with business objectives
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when necessary

**HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- First experience as a Commodity buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed procurement decisions
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
