Summary

The Digital Manager will work in Incyte Italy cooperating with Marketing and Medical Affairs to develop the multi channel engagement strategies related to our brands; he will work cross-functionally with other members of the European Brand Teams

As a Digital Manager, he/she will understand and effectively monitor the multi-channel and media landscape with focus on topics relevant to current and future healthcare professional (HCP) needs. Through understanding multi-channel engagement trends he/she will contribute adequately in the communication of Incyte brands through active topic and content management and the identification and implementation of channels. He/she will aim to strengthen visibility and customer interaction and access to the customer whilst anticipating and identifying early issues in support of the development of content and end material.

The Digital Manager is able to successfully identify relevant influencers, platforms, formats and channels. Working cross functionally, he/she are able to manage the digital content distribution for the product and different areas of interest to Incyte. He/she will define the requirements for digital data quality and preparation for the interpretation of all multi-channel/ digital projects as prioritised in the brand plans and define KPIs and benchmarks for their evaluation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Director but working within a cross functional team, be central to the development, maintenance and success measures across all digital marketing and medical educational programs in the Italy
- Work with European Brand Team Digital Managers to co-develop, anticipate and adapt EU materials and initiatives
- Develop and implement a Italy multi-channel engagement plan across all brands within the Hem/Onc Franchise
- Continually develop insights into digital healthcare trends and competitor activities and report these findings in a structured process to the Italian team
- Provide in-depth knowledge of performance marketing, online tools and KPIs and competency in assessing them: strategically, technically, operationally and in communication
- Drive the implementation of digital components of the brand strategy by initiating, developing and executing relevant tactics, tools and initiatives to enable optimal brand promotion via a multi-channel engagement approach
- Manage the development from conceptualization to approval and production of multi-channel digital solutions for healthcare professionals in line with the brand plans and compliance parameters
- Monitor and maintain digital assets effectiveness in compliance
- Assist in the development of the Brand Plans within the agreed timeframe and ensure brand strategic imperatives and tactics are aligned
- Work with European data analysts and local data agencies to ensure the right metrics are applied to continuously measure and report brand and competitor performance
- Contribute when appropriate to EU Regional internal and external activities
- Lead and manage vendors and agencies to ensure high quality of output; communicate, track and keep timelines and budget.
- Support monitoring and control of brand budgets and help to assess the marketing mix of the brand to evaluate cost effectiveness and return on investment
- Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
- Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company SOPs

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of successful digital / multichannel marketing in the pharmaceutical industry with a good understanding of current customer and market needs and experience in Oncology/Haematology desirable
- Experience in Hematology and Oncology would be a plus
- University degree in Science and/or degree in Business
- Sound knowledge and experience in online and multi-channel marketing including social media and ideally in digital project management as well as online event management and website management
- Experienced in online and multi-channel marketing technologies and willingness to keep up to date with the latest developments in technology and healthcare requirements
- Creativity and openness to new ideas as well as an affinity for numbers and analytical thinking
- Can do mentality and proven ability to successfully lead and manage multiple projects in high quality across a matrix organization
- Track record of a structured ways of working and analytical thinking
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually
- A strong team player as he/she will have to work cross-functionally
- Seeks continuous improvement with an innovative mindset
- Able to analyse data and draw the right conclusions
- Solution oriented and task driven
- Structured approach to project management
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English is mandatory
