**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Operate the guest service properly, efficiently and with profitability
- Support the Resort Manager ensuring that Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures of Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como are properly understood and followed
- Support the Resort Manager maintaining a very high standard of behavior and grooming
- Ensure accurate and prompt communication of information and guests' requests to all relevant departments
- Support all guests' complaints and specific guests’ requests by cooperating with all departments
- Greet and escort guests to their rooms if needed
- Provide prompt assistance to guests in the lobby and Front Office area
- Provide high quality service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guests' experience
- Supervise guests’ incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Resort Manager

**Requirements**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Full proficiency in English and Italian; an additional language is preferred
- Problem-solving and team-work skills
- Must be flexible and able to work on weekends and holidays, if needed
- Must be discrete and have a professional appearance and behavior
- Strong computer and IT literacy
- An experience in a similar position within a luxury environment is considered a plus
