Grenergy Renovables is a Spanish company created in 2007, an independent producer of energy from renewable sources, mainly wind and photovoltaic, which has been listed on the Continuous Market since 2019. Our business model covers all phases of the project, from development, going through the construction and financial structuring to the operation and maintenance of the plants. We currently have a strong presence in LATAM (Chile, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia), US and Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania and UK).

Currently due to our growth, we are looking to strengthen the Development department in Rome with a Grid BESS Specialist.

**Your day**:

- Grid Connection Liaison: Collaborate with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to establish strong working relationships and facilitate the grid connection process.
- Network Capacity Analysis: Conduct in-depth network capacity analysis to determine the feasibility of connecting new battery storage projects to the grid. Identify potential challenges and propose solutions.
- Project Collaboration: Work in alongside with our in-house EPC and desgin team and collaborate closely with project development and land team, ensuring grid connection requirements are effectively integrated into project plans.
- Technical Support: Provide support on grid-related matters, helping to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with grid connection standards and regulations.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of all grid connection-related activities, including permits, approvals, and correspondence with DNOs and TSOs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in grid connection and renewable energy, and contribute ideas for process improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with a DNO or renewable energy developer.
- In-depth knowledge of Italy grid connection regulations and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability.
