Check-in Assistant for Vacation Rentals in Rome

We manage several short-term vacation rentals in Rome and are looking for a friendly, reliable Check-in Assistant to help welcome guests and ensure everything runs smoothly during arrivals.

**Responsibilities**
- Greeting guests, handing over keys, and providing a brief introduction to the apartment.
- Coordinating arrival timing and staying available during the agreed window.
- Quality check of cleaning and setup before arrival (linen, amenities, trash, basic order) using a short checklist; report issues with photos via WhatsApp.
- It may be required to prepare the apartment with small welcome treats or essential guest supplies before arrival, when requested.
- Basic, safe first-line upkeep in case of minor issues (e.g., replace a light bulb, reset a router, re-seat a loose screw, re-fit a battery) strictly within provided guidance; promptly escalate anything beyond scope to the property manager.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent English skills (native or advanced level).
- Reliability and a friendly attitude.
- Fair knowledge of the city and the ability to move around easily; **a scooter or similar two-wheeled vehicle (not a car) is essential for quick travel and punctuality, especially during strikes or heavy traffic.**:

- Flexibility to work at various times depending on guest arrival.
- Punctuality and the ability to adapt to possible delays in guest arrivals (e.g., transport issues).

**Commitment**
- Occasional, approximately 1-2 hours per check-in, depending on reservations.

**Check-in hours**
- Flexible within a window from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, or up to 11:00 PM with a small additional compensation for check-ins after 8:30 PM.

**Compensation**
- Competitive hourly rate.
- All materials and supplies needed for guest preparation or minor upkeep are provided or covered by the company.
- Training and ongoing support provided.

**Location**
- Central Rome and semi-central areas (Garbatella, EUR, Largo Colli Albani).

**Important**

**Please note**: Applications **without a scooter or similar two-wheeled vehicle** will **not be considered**, as it is essential for this role.

**Language**

English (required).
