Import Specialist

**Import Specialist**

This position is responsible for the timely and efficient import of all international shipments, ensuring full customs import compliance for the company. This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Customs issues associated with inbound freight, cargo transportation and delivery from other AGCO locations or third party suppliers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive the notification of the import
- Request to the freight forwarder the documentation (T1)
- Create import documentation (istruzioni di importazione, libera importazione,..)
- Coordinate the information flow internally and externally: Inbound material, Material Planning, Finance, Customs consultant,
- Receive the customs clearance from the Customs consultant
- Assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import issues associated with all shipments.
- Review for accuracy invoices and broker bills
- Track, trace and report shipments to ensure timely delivery maintaining electronic records including daily import activity log
- Assist in handling and resolving freight claims
- Proactively request to attend seminars and courses to be always up to date on rules and regulations related to Import regulations

Minimum Requirements
- High School Degree
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient use of the PC
- English / Italian Speaker
