IT Smart Factory Product Owner

**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As IT Smart Factory Product Owner, you will be responsible to manage digital platforms and lead projects in the Smart Factory area aimed to improve the current shop floor landscape, introducing elements of modernization and standardization, and defining innovative digital solutions that fulfil Business requirements and fit into both the Avio Aero and GE Aerospace landscape.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the Digital operations to ensure business continuity, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Act as a link between Business functions, IT, external actors maintaining an appropriate level of communication with end-users and management
- Manage project schedule, risks, costs, and any non-standard events throughout the life of the project
- Track project outcomes realization and measure Customer impact through established metrics (KPI)
- Ensure lessons learned are collected
- Be proactive in exploring alternate technology and be able to make technology choices based on experience and impact analysis
- Be accountable for IT operational excellence, ensure compliance to GE standards & practices
- Partner with Business Leaders and Users to identify needs, evaluate how to improve business processes, delivering the proper Digital solutions
- Ensure alignment with the broader GE Aerospace within DT Function
- Strongly interact within Digital Technology teams in all sites
- Develop key Business process knowledge

**Qualification/Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or High School Diploma with previous and proven experience in Smart Factory field
- Basic knowledge on Connectivity Infrastructure, Industrial IoT services/platform and Industry 4.0
- Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Continuous improvement attitude
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong team working attitude and inclusiveness
- Fluent in Italian and good English (spoken and written)
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- Previous Experience in similar roles
- Good customer orientation, quality and cost driven approach
- Ability to exploit Industry 4.0 and new technologies to improve internal productivity, innovate the Shops and analyze data collected from machines to develop predictive algorithms and to provide valuable insights to the business
- Competencies in Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Able to use Lean and 6 sigma tools and drive change
- Good analytical and problem resolution skills
- Motivated to grow, proactive and able to set own action plans (independent in work activities and execution)
- Computer vision and Artificial Intelligence knowledges
