**Accountabilities**
- Definition of High, Medium and Low voltage Electrical architecture documents
- Definition TCMS vehicle architecture
- Definition of traction characteristics and development of driving simulations
- Development Functional Specifications for the functional integration of the vehicle
- Preparation of the vehicle test specifications
- Support for performance and functional tests of the vehicle

**Required Skills/ Knowledge**
- Experience in the railway industry with the role of Train Systems Engineer is preferred.
- Knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business
- Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of the electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field is required, in order to manage, throughout the life cycle of the product and with an interdisciplinary approach, the design activities, development and functional integration of the subsystems of railway vehicle platforms, with particular reference to the topics of architecture, functions and vehicle performance, from the design phase to the final validation phase and analysis of feedback from the field.
- Recommended knowledge of electrical/mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.)
- Knowledge of the IBM DOORS requirements management tool
- Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the aptitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.
- Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.
- Ability to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required.
- Availability for short-term national and international business trip

**Education/Qualifications**

Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.

**Languages**

Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
