The Cold Section Accessory Gearbox Sub System owner is the primary engineering responsible of the NPI execution of relevant mechanical design and component integration of relevant Sub System.
In this role you will work within the Military Design Engineering section as Sub System owner for the Accessory Gearbox Sub System and will interface Italian Military customer / Engine development partners / Supply Chain.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Prime engineering responsible for the Sub System NPI execution through the Avio Aero NPI process
- Prime engineering support to the formal Sub System developments Reviews
- Ensure proper requirements flow down from sub system level to component level
- Establish efficient coordination of the design activities from different engineering organizations
- Provide all required engineering support to the sub system engineering and certification tests definition, tests plan, tests rig design-procurement-setup, tests execution and sub system final certification

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related, from an accredited university
- Previous experience on technical leadership and/or program management skills
- Previous experience in mechanical design and baseline use of CAD tools (Unigraphix)
- Great accountability/collaboration & interpersonal/communication skills
- Technical Program management and execution/coordination skills
- External technical relationship experience
- Good execution/coordination skills
- Availability to business travel
- Italian and English fluent knowledge
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- Previous sub system or relevant complex system ownership experience
- Previous experience in requirements management and related tools
- Experience in aero-engines component or module design
- Previous experience in cost and value engineering
- Advanced Unigraphics CAD tool
