**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Corporate Operations Director, the Purchasing Manager EMEAR owns of the region’s procurement responsibilities with the mission of supporting Maccaferri’s business strategy by developing and managing the supply base and enhance Company’s competitiveness and success.

Main responsibilities include:

- Implement procurement strategies through different categories;
- Analyse the global supplier market and create and develop commodity strategies in close cooperation with EMEAR Operations and plants;
- Manage relations with key suppliers and run negotiations, managing contracts whilst focusing on long
- and short-term purchasing goals;
- Manage negotiation strategies at regional level and close deals with strategic suppliers obtaining optimal conditions in terms of cost efficiency, quality rate, time delivery and terms of payment;
- Collaborate closely with business to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company and provide procurement program updates;
- Strong partnership with the Strategic Purchasing team in terms of suppliers' management KPIs, metrics and average prices by category.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or other Operations related field;
- Minumun 6/7 years of relevent experience in roles or similar tasks within modernly structured companies;
- Good experience in purchasing steel and polymer categories;
- Strong negotiation and networking skills, strong leadership and management skills, multi-tasking and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks;
- Fluent in English.
