**Accountabilities**
- The SQE takes care of the whole verification phase of the preconditions of First Article Inspection (FAI), directly interfacing with external and internal stakeholders (Hitachi Suppliers and Hitachi Technical Bodies);
- Performs and conducts the Product Qualification Activity (FAI) directly at the production site of the supplier involved, making use of the support of Hitachi technicians, accountable to the Contract Team for the result obtained;

**Required Skills/Knowledge**
- Knowledge of the special process of structural welding (any special processes qualifications will represent a vantage on the evaluation);
- Knowledge of HR engineering and manufacturing specifications, and also on International standards, thought part qualification activity process and then through Supplies FAI process;
- Experience in support the assigned supplier in order to ensure the right surveillance, of the production processes, to guarantee the compliance of the products;
- Knowledge of quality documentation (MIPs, declaration of conformity form, Qualification evidences, etc ).

**Education/Qualifications**

Degree in mechanical engineering, or mechanical expert with proven experience, in the indicated field.

**Languages**

Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
