**The Role**:
The Edinburgh department has a position working on both renewable energy projects, onshore and offshore and across a spectrum of energies including windfarms, solar farms, energy parks, hydrogen, carbon capture and battery storage and general commercial property transactions. The work will involve:

- assisting and advising on the offshore portfolio of Crown Estate Scotland particularly offshore wind but also emerging industries such as wave & tidal and carbon capture and storage projects
- assisting on dealing with other Crown Estate Scotland infrastructure projects including offshore agreements for cables and pipelines
- option agreement and leasing work acting for both landowners/landlords and developers/tenants
- general commercial property transactions including property investment sales and purchases and leasing transactions both for landlord and tenant

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Recently qualified solicitor with a passion for Commercial Real Estate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A team player with a proactive approach to challenges.
