Within the Procurement Department and part of the Finance & Administration organization based in Rome, we are currently looking for a Procurement Expert.

**Mission**

Contribute and proactively participate in the development of the Procurement Department in Bulgari, driving Procurement excellence and acting as a strategic partner to the Marketing & Communication teams. Lead and manage the sourcing & execution of key projects, ensuring compliance, performance, sustainability, and value delivery across assigned categories.

Establish a procurement operating model aligned with Marketing’s strategic roadmap, covering activities such as Brand Image / Advertising, Events (creative & production), PR agencies / Talent & Celebrity management, global CRM and social media services.

**Accountabilities**

Sourcing Strategies & Vendor Management
- Implement sourcing strategies based on business objectives and translate them into initiatives and action plans
- Responsible for negotiation of commercial conditions with suppliers (quantitative and qualitative deliverables) in line with economic targets, respecting legal requirements and regulations
- Manage action plans’ execution to improve the purchasing processes, methods and tools implementation
- Deliver and conduct end-to-end sourcing processes through internal brief definition, benchmark, value analysis, and contract management
- Review and develop supplier networks through market scouting and suppliers’ evaluation based on capabilities, quality of execution, cost, innovation, and guaranteed service level
- Ensure periodic analysis on supplier network evolution, novelties in product/services offer, main indexes, and other relevant indicators
- Foster long-term partnerships with suppliers while continuously seeking opportunities for cost optimization, innovation and process improvement
- Identify new suppliers through market intelligence and proactively assess fit with brand values and quality standards

Reporting
- Define and set up KPIs/Dashboards and relevant reporting documents to monitor performance & efficiencies, project management, and purchasing action plan status
- Provide key measurement statistics, analysis, and reporting on purchasing activities and projects
- Regularly update and communicate to management through weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
- Design and implement performance metrics that support Procurement excellence and continuous improvement across marketing categories

Innovation & Procurement Excellence
- Actively contribute to procurement transformation by identifying areas for process digitalization and operational optimization
- Champion procurement innovation by integrating industry trends, best practices, and new technologies into category strategies
- Lead or support cross-functional initiatives aimed at standardization, value engineering, and cost efficiency
- Support the evolution of procurement methodologies and tools to drive value beyond cost

Sustainability & Risk Management
- Collaborate with the Sustainability and Legal teams to ensure that sourcing strategies incorporate ESG goals, regulatory compliance, and ethical practices
- Monitor market dynamics and risks (e.g., supply constraints, regulatory changes) and develop mitigation strategies accordingly
- Ensure supplier compliance with Bulgari’s standards on environmental, social, and governance criteria

Profilo

**Technical Skills**
- Degree in Economics; a specialization in Procurement, Marketing or related fields is a plus
- 5-7 years managing same scope of work in terms of category (preferably within luxury, FMCG, advertising, or agency ecosystems)
- Business and customer-centric approach
- Analysis and reporting skills
- Fluent English & Italian; French is a plus
- Knowledge of Procurement best practices and tools (e.g., Source-to-Contract, Spend Analysis)
- Experience in contract negotiation and vendor performance management
- Familiarity with category management and supplier innovation management principles
