**Manager, Production Planning - Milan Silicon Carbide Epitaxial (LPE) Manufacturing Operations**

The Milan Production Planning Manager is responsible for translating the site build plan through the order fulfillment process to plan and schedule the factory - this includes both long range capacity planning for the various manufacturing workcenters and near term production order management to optimize factory throughput and material presentation to the manufacturing lines. The role inclues responsibilities for Production Planning and Production Scheduling. These roles are summarized as follows:

Planner / Scheduler Roles and Responsibilities:

- Works Upstream (Planner Role)
- Ensures BOMs are Loaded, Shortage Reports Generated
- Priority to improve material commits from Buyers
- Works with Schedulers on Near Term Production Order Release Timing
- Works with Manufacturing on Long Term Production Order Scheduling and Line Capacity
- Manages al Production Order Changes - BOM Changes / Errors, Lost / Damaged
- Works on Consumption Planning / Inventory Control
- Establishes process for Data Integrity in the ERP System - Customer, Vendor Master Data Management
- Debugs MRP Signals to ensure correct Orders are being placed to Suppliers
- Works Downstream (Scheduler Role)
- Direct Interaction with Manufacturing Supervisors on Tactical Line Scheduling and Work Order Release
- Update Manufacturing Commit Dates based upon Assembly / Test Progress, Shortage Commit Dates
- Responsible for Current Material Condition of WIP Systems - Chases Planners / Logistics to Resolve Shortages
- Advises Planners on Production Order Releases and Schedules Warehouse Pick Requirements
- Coordinates with Planners to Approve Production Order Release Schedule
- Schedules and Picks Spares Orders, ICTO Orders, Consigned Material Orders

**Key Qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills in both Italian and English.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a complex manufacturing, make to order production operations role.
- A minimum of 5 years of people management experience in a production operations environment.
- Experience in working with a diverse group of executive level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proactive thinking with a can-do attitude - a self starter, frequently taking the initiative to drive solutions to complex problems.
- Project management experience and demonstrated capabilities in establishing project plans and delivering intended results.
- A bachelor’s degree or better in a manufacturing opreations related discipline.
