Service Operations Manager
**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (internship). Works in strict cooperation with Project Managers and Service coordinators to deliver either Service work done at site or remote support request ensuring the compliance with ABB's and Customer's standards, procedures and policies. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education opportunities. The work model for the role is: #onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Marine & Ports division in Genoa and you will be mainly accountable for: -Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines. -Utilize understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements. -Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. -Seek feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills. -Work in accordance with ABB procedures using applicable tools. -Cooperate in managing onsite/remote activities from quotation to invoice and cash collection phases, passing through bid preparation, contract administration, activity planning/coordination and logistic arrangement. -Build and maintain relationships either with internal or external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all of them. -Support in preparing and managing all required reporting and documentation.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Good knowledge on automation and Electro-Technical topics is a plus.
- Responsiveness and quick acting mindset. Learning Smartness, Problem solving, great flexibility and under pressure working complete your profile.
- You are at ease communicating in perfect Italian language and good English language both spoken and written.
