- Purpose- As a Cost Estimator, you are accountable to deliver in due time, the most accurate cost estimate for a defined scope.
- You will ensure to give the best cost view for a given system, which will allow the most accurate and efficient financial tracking during the project execution phase.
- Responsibilities- Collect and analyse cost and associated technical data on previous projects for both gaining knowledge and having benchmarking reference
- Maintain up-to-date databases
- Acquire good knowledge on products and project execution
- Identify or support (simple) tools development for improving quality of estimates, benchmarking and reporting
- Deliver estimates in timely manner with best accuracy (depending conditions and inputs provided)
- Provide quality analysis and reporting to Commercial and Management team
- Ensure transparency and traceability of costs and associated assumptions Liaise, understand and challenge project team and various disciplines (engineering, supply chain, construction...)
- Education- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Finance
- Experience- Ideally minimum of 3 years experience in Industry (Oil&gas is a plus)
- Proficient in Excel
- Cost Estimating or cost engineer/controller experience is a plus
