**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review stand-alone financial statement tax related disclosures
- Oversee third party tax preparer ensuring accuracy and completeness of income tax and VAT returns while maintaining strict deadlines.
- Review tax account reconciliations prepared internally
- Maintain tax depreciation/amortization schedules
- Assist with the preparation of income tax workpapers and US GAAP ASC 740 annual and quarterly income tax provisions
- Assist with any audit inquiries
- Research local and foreign jurisdiction tax issues
- Management of foreign jurisdiction third party service providers
- Prepare quarterly reconciliation between US GAAP and Italian financial reporting.
- Special projects as needed

**Education**:

- Master’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting/Finance

**Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting or large multinational
- 2 to 3 years of experience supervising staff

**Technical Skills**:

- Experience with Italian VAT and Income Tax issues
- Exposure to International Tax Issues
- Experience with BNA or equivalent tax research platform

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, highly driven
- Good public speaking skills and ability to lead group meetings
- Ability to work independently (self-starter) and simultaneously manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in Italian and English
