**Job Summary**

**The role**:
Reporting to the Group Head of Sustainability, our **Group Sustainability Specialist** will contribute to develop and implement the Italgas Group Sustainability Strategy and reporting practice, concerning Environmental, Safety, Social Responsibility and Governance issues, supporting the Group in the delivery of sustainability projects across its Companies, Sites and Functions. She/he will also support the development of the Annual Integrated Report, improving/reviewing reliable and auditable processes and systems related to cross-function non-financial data collection.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Non-financial reporting** data collection, disclosure and monitoring of regulatory and corporate trends
- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities to follow sustainability best practices
- Focus on **sustainability issues**, initiatives and strategies, such as minimizing the environmental footprint or maximizing social value of internal/external initiatives
- Developing projects/initiatives on sustainability impacts evaluation, Science Based Target Initiative, TCFD and Taxonomy
- Serving as a key internal interface with Group Companies and other Functions (e.g. Investor Relations, Strategy, HSE, Operation, Procurement, Compliance, ERM..)
- Driving enhanced performance of Italgas in key indices, **Dow Jones Sustainability Index, CDP Climate Change, FTS4Good, MSCI **and more, overseeing data collection and presenting key findings and opportunities for improvement
- Supporting the external assurance process of non-financial reporting, identifying improvements and ensuring corporate reporting is accurate, in line with legislative requirements and best practices
- Monitoring **sustainability performance** monthly against KPIs reporting results to senior management and completing necessary disclosures
