**VIE Project Finance, Energy, Resources & Infrastructure - Milan, M/W**

**Your daily routine ?**

You will be fully integrated into the daily activity of the Energy, Resources & Infrastructure team in Milan and fulfills an active & effective support role.

You will contribute to the credit analysis, the monitoring, the review of existing projects and financings (including financial analysis, the cash-flow analysis of simple or complex financial models). You will analyse risk categories that may affect the projects using the existing due diligence reports. You will contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals, pitches or other marketing materials. You will contribute to the preparation of screening memos and credit proposals. You will assist in the management of internal reporting, day-to-day administrative tasks and in the compliance processes.

**The working environment is important **

The position is within the Energy, Resources & Infrastructure department, part of Financing Solutions EMEA. It is comprised of circa 130 professionals and has a leading position as adviser and arranger of limited-recourse financing solutions in the following sectors across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region : Infrastructure, Power and Renewables, Oil & Gas (upstream, midstream and downstream) and Metals & Mining.

The ERI team based in Milan consists of a variety of professionals, and provides advisory and arranging services for the debt financing of long-term, cash-flow based projects, with limited or no recourse to shareholders or sponsors in the following sectors.
- Power : mainly renewable energies as solar and wind for the new transactions, hydroelectric power and conventional power) ;
- Infrastructure : regulated utilities (including gas and power distribution networks and storage facilities), transportation (roads, bridges, ports, airports, railways), social public services (hospitals, schools, police stations) and environmental (water & waste).

**The next steps ?**

You will have the opportunity to acquire project and infrastructure finance skills, develop structured finance skills (financial modelling, cash flow analysis, debt structuring, analysis of risks and mitigants). You will dive deep into renewables and infrastructure sectors (technical and legal aspects). You will interact with internal & external professionals (lawyers, technical experts, insurance experts) and the other banks, develop your own network.

You have a master degree majoring in corporate finance. You have gained first experience (internships and work-study program included) in structured finance.

You have a solid knowledge in structured loans and risk analysis.

You speak fluent English**.** Proficiency in Italian would be an asset.

**Concrètement votre quotidien ?**

Vous serez pleinement intégré à l’équipe de Energy, Resources & Infrastructure (ERI) de Milan. Selon les opérations en cours et votre progression, vous contribuerez à l’analyse de crédit, le monitorage, la revue des projets et financements existants (dont l’analyse financière, l’analyse des cash-flows de modèles financiers basiques ou complexes).
