**Role & Responsibility**:

- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, approval, and payment.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in month-end closing processes by preparing account reconciliations and reports.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and manage payment schedules.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and withholding taxes.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.

**Technical Knowledge/Experience Desired**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle Netsuit) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication in English and in Italian and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

**Dimensions**
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with month end closing processes
- Experience with Oracle
- Familiarity with Retail or Ecommerce business
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to tasks.
