The new Multipurpose Terminal in the Port of Trieste for Container, RoRo, General Cargo and Project Cargo. Your gateway in the Adriatic to Europe. **Jr. Project Planner & Controller (PPC - Expansion Project)**: Become part of HHLA PLT Italy and shape the gateway to the future with us The Jr.PPC supports the Project Management with accurate controlling and project planning, supporting the development of the critical path and highlighting dependencies, including related budget tracking. The role will ensure regular reporting is up to par and incorporates the feedback from various internal stakeholders into the planning/controls/budget. The Jr.PPC is a pro-active communicator and collaborator across the project team gathering and sharing information. **What you can expect**: - Ensure an overall project planning (business & asset incl. permits & licenses and interface projects) and update the planning on regular basis - Review and support the development of critical path analysis - Execute procedures for budget control including forecasting - Execute weekly and monthly reporting with input from other team members - Track sub - or special projects - Confirm and check deliverables of sub - or special projects - Pro-actively engage with and obtain information from project stakeholders - Regularly update the project risk register/other control documents - Support where required the Project Management **What you bring to the table**: We’re looking for an accurate and process minded individual who can engage with the different project stakeholders. The person would have a high sense of responsibility as the role is vital to track progress of the entire project and ensure the deliverables are achieved. - Good English (Italian and/or German are a plus) - Experience (1+ year(s)) in (project) planning (incl. critical paths, resources, etc.) preferably in P6 or equivalent alternative - Experience (1+ year(s)) in projects/developments >€5 Million - Good understanding of project planning systems (P6/others) - Understanding of project management methodologies, including project controls - Driven and detail oriented, will own the reporting & regular updates - Process & logic driven mentality - Degree in Business/Engineering or related (PMP is a plus) HHLA PLT Italy is part of HHLA Group, with over 6.400 employees worldwide.
