**Mission**

**Main responsibilities**
- Define and apply, in collaboration with external laboratories, analytical plans to demonstrate the conformity of the products, materials and objects in contact with food
- Evaluate in detail the documentation related to the aspects of food contact compliance of materials and objects in contact with food such as declarations of conformity, statements of absence of the main contaminants, report analysis
- Identify any gaps and define the related recovery plans between the documentation received and the requirements of Lavazza internal standards and local and international regulations
- Draw up the dossier for the validation of the Food Contact Compliance aspects of products, materials and objects in contact with food
- Support the budget management team

**Requisiti**:

- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Sciences, Food Technologies
- 2/3 years’ experience in food contact compliance or similar roles
- Excellent knowledge of the chemistry of materials and substances used to produce objects in contact with food such as plastic, compostable, multi-material multilayer, flexible films, papers and cartons, etc.) and related experience in the Food Contact Compliance area
- Good knowledge of the main processes for the production of materials and objects in contact with food (eg extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding) and packaging
- Excellent knowledge of the main local and international reference regulations depending on the type of material involved, in relation to the aspects of Food Contact Compliance such as Reg. 1935/2004; Reg. 10/2011, Reg. 1245/2020, DM 21.3.73, FDA Regulations
- Excellent knowledge of the main analytical and methodical instruments for verifying the suitability for contact of materials and objects (including global and specific migration tests, worst case calculation, screening and content tests, study and evaluation of NIAS,...)
- Good knowledge of the main analytical and methodical instruments for the characterization of materials (FT-IR, DSC, XRD, NRM, )
- Excellent knowledge of the Office Package
- Fluent English
