**Job Title**: Tour Guide - Italy (Venice)
**Employment Type**: Project-Based / Part-Time

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Welcome tourists and accompany them throughout the day’s tour.
- Lead the group on a **water bus ride to San Marco Island**, providing insights into Venice’s charm and unique architecture.
- Guide tourists around iconic locations including **Piazza San Marco, Basilica di San Marco, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs**.
- Facilitate a visit to see a **Murano glassblowing demonstration**, highlighting Venice’s traditional craft.
- Provide assistance and coordination for optional experiences such as a **gondola ride**.
- Accompany the group on their **transfer to Rome** in the afternoon (approx. 5 hours and 50 minutes travel time).
**General Duties**:
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all clients.
- Deliver engaging historical and cultural commentary.
- Manage time effectively to keep the group on schedule.
- Provide recommendations and answer tourist questions.
- Coordinate with the company regarding logistics, updates, or adjustments to the itinerary.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a tour guide in Venice and Rome.
- Strong knowledge of Italian history, culture, and major tourist attractions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills in **English** (other languages are a plus).
