**Role Summary**
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the business goals of Kollant branded solutions in Italy. He/she is responsible for the channel strategy development and implementation and collaborates with the Portfolio Development Manager to continuously optimize the product portfolio. He/she leads the Local Sales team (sales support + agents) and coordinates the customers management activities, also being directly involved in managing the key accounts. He/she ensures excellent operational standards through optimization and disciplined implementation of structured operational processes. He/she is a member of Kollant management team and acts with team spirit to contribute to the greater good of Kollant and Adama as a whole.

Reports directly to Kollant General Manager
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**_Planning and Forecasting _**
- Develop and update, as needed, an aligned business strategy to be summarized by the yearly Work Plan and the 5 years Work Plan (by product and channel)
- Collaborate with the Portfolio Development Manager to identify and capture the opportunities to strengthen Kollant offering and improve customer value delivery
- Constantly align short to mid-term financial and operational plans through monthly cycles of rolling forecast supported by K-For system
**_Operational excellence _**
- Optimize the sales cycle processes (from pricelists drafting, to order processing, invoicing and delivery) in order to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance with Adama group policies and procedures
- Ensure smooth execution of transactional cycle, from order intake to delivery
- Collaborate with the CFO to ensure transparent business tracking and with the IT manager to support the digitalization of transactional tasks
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to draft and implement the communication campaigns and the promotion activities for the retail
- Collaborate with the Operation Manager and Supply Manager to ensure alignment and updating of manufacturing plans
- Collaborate with the Product Specialist to train agents and customers on Kollant solutions benefits
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to foster product and service improvement
**_Business development and customer management _**
- Continuously explore potential opportunities to grow the business
- Develop and implement a compelling value proposition for the different customers segments
- Ensure excellent customer experience and winning competitive performance by coordinating and supervising all the commercial activities in Italy
- Continuously align the commercial policy with the company tactical and strategic goals
- Draft and transparently manage the product price list to meet the profitability targets and maintain a competitive positioning in the market
**_Team Leadership _**
- Deploy the agents’ team to ensure adequate footprint
- With the Channel Managers’ support, lead, manage and coach the agents’ team to ensure commercial activities effectiveness and valued customer support delivery
- Develop the agents’ technical and commercial skills
- Lead, manage and coach the sales support team to provide effective and efficient workload management
- Attract and develop talents
- Manage team members’ performance and compensation according to Adama group policies
**Background/experience**:
- Master Degree (scientific or economic background)
- Ten years experience in commercial roles
- Five years experience in leading a team
- Professional and/or consumer pest control + plant care industry knowledge
- Must be fluent in Italian, English nice to have
- Ability / willingness to travel across the country according to business needs
