**About this role**:
As Just Eat’s Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Manager in Italy, you will play a pivotal role in protecting and enhancing our corporate reputation. Working closely with the Italian management team and global communications teams, you will craft and implement strategies to manage public affairs and corporate communications effectively. Your focus will be on topics like platform work, artificial intelligence, innovation, and sustainability, aligning our communications with both local and global business priorities.

**Location**: Milan, Italy (Office 3 days per week + 2 days WFH)
**Reporting to**: Country Manager Italy

**These are some of the key ingredients to the role**:

- Monitor media coverage, political developments, and regulatory changes, analyzing their impact on our business and providing actionable insights.
- Represent Just Eat’s vision and values, communicating effectively with media, policymakers, think tanks, and trade associations on a local and national level.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute Public Affairs and Corporate Communications strategies that align with our business goals.
- Draft position papers, press releases, and strategic communications to ensure our messaging is cohesive and impactful.
- Facilitate meetings with journalists, government officials, and other stakeholders to advocate for our business policies and priorities.
- Lead crisis communications and issue management with comprehensive media statements, Q&A support, and internal guidance.
- Support internal communications initiatives to enhance team alignment and engagement.

**What will you bring to the table?**:

- Proven expertise in public affairs and corporate communications, including working in complex regulatory or media environments.
- Experience working independently on high-stakes projects and effectively managing communication strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the Italian political, regulatory, and media landscape, with an established network of contacts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
