Trade Marketing Specialist

**British American Tobacco Italia is looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist, to join the Trade Marketing team based in Rome.**

Trade department is a key part of the business process within BAT, acting as a bridge between Head Quarters and Sales team.

The main objective is to “translate” the high-level strategy into tangible commercial actions for our Field Force, with the scope to reach company targets in terms of sales and distribution of our products into Tobacconist channel across the whole Italian territory.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Build commercial activities to meet company strategy objectives.
- Ownership on the execution of commercial activities, ensuring excellent deployment on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular on field checks and follow ups to better understand, in concrete, how to support Sales team.
- Performing analysis with the objective of capturing trends and providing insight to senior stakeholders, in order to set-up new commercial activities to boost sales/distribution of BAT products.
- Manage communication between local marketing, trade, supply chain and above market instances to ensure all criteria and conditions are met for the deployment of the activities prior to launch or a new marketing activity.

**What are we looking for?**
- University degree, preferably in Marketing or Economics
- Between 2 and 5 years experience in a similar role(FMCG Marketing, Marketing Agency, or related fields are considered a plus)
- Proactive and independent mind set
- Strong analytical skills, effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to learn, proactivity & resilience
- Full English and Italian proficiency (Business)
- MS Office - Advanced user, especially Excel
- Power BI - previous experience is considered an advantage
