Bilingual European School in Milan in Italy has over 450 students in Primary and Middle School. In Middle School, our learning is delivered 40% in English and 60% in Italian. Part of our Maths and Technology curriculum is taught in English.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**: Develop and deliver well-structured English and Global Perspectives lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum and learning objectives.
- **Global Perspectives**:Introduce students to global issues, encourage critical thinking, and facilitate discussions on topics such as sustainability, social justice, and cultural diversity.
- **English Language Skills**:Enhance students' English language skills, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening within the context of global issues.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:Assess student performance through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- **Innovation**: Integrate innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience and promote student engagement.
- **Differentiated Instruction**:Cater to the diverse needs of students by implementing differentiated instruction strategies, ensuring that all learners make progress.
- **Classroom Management**:Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and supports the emotional well-being of students.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in English and Global Perspectives education.
- **Parent Communication**:Collaborate with parents to provide regular updates on students' progress and communicate any concerns or achievements.
- **Extracurricular Activities**: May have the opportunity to participate in or lead extracurricular activities related to English, Global Perspectives, or other areas of interest.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching certification or qualifications.
- Previous experience teaching English and Global Perspectives, preferably in a middle school setting.
- Strong knowledge of global issues and perspectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to become responsible global citizens.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and tools.
