**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the achievement of Sales, Bookings and Gross Profit targets for the full Actuation Technologies portfolio in the agreed sales territory.
- Identify & understand the specific market requirements within the territory.
- Develop & execute strategies to maximise revenue & gross margins.
- Actively manage the business with existing customers and seek new opportunities to promote products, services and solutions of Actuation Technologies. The customer-base will include OEMs, Distributors, Intercompany (Emerson Final Controls) Sales Offices, and End-Users.
- Report regularly to the Senior Regional Sales Manager on market trends, evidence of competition strategies, and customer behavior which may affect the Actuation Technologies’ business strategies.
- Develop a Distribution strategy for the territory in order to best serve the end-user market, and to maximize revenue & profitability for Actuation Technologies.
- Proactively manage the distribution sales channel by means of joint sales calls, shared opportunity funnels, sales planning and follow-up, marketing initiatives, and the management of pricing & enabling factors.
- Report business Distribution status, updates and plans to the Senior Regional Sales Manager.
- Maintain and regularly update business expectations within Actuator Technologies’ forecasting processes.
- Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs & conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of Actuation Technologies.
- Promote the Actuation Technologies product range, and provide local sales support, to Gas Pipeline customers.
- Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to meet their needs.
- Cooperate closely with operations, order management, project execution and service teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customers, and work to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Observe the “Business Ethics” stipulated by Actuation Technologies.
- Practice and promote the “Perfect Execution” culture in all aspects of the role.
- Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and escalate any concerns or questions to the Actuation Technologies Gatekeeper

**Job Requirements**
- Engineering degree or comparable technical education
- Advanced level of sales, negotiation and presentation skills
- Very strong communications and interpersonal skills with all levels within and outside of the organization
- Creativity and drive for results
- Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory
- Advanced Office Suite User
- Must be willing to travel (50% to 75% of the time) and possess skills to facilitate communications and progress initiatives while traveling
