We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Marketing Executive** to join our growing team. As a technology start-up underpinned by expert science, we are looking for a go-getter who is eager to learn everything there is about flood forecasting and how to improve resilience to floods globally. The primary role is to support the Marketing Manager with planning and implementation of all aspects of marketing and communications within Previsico.

Responsibilities will include:

- General support for the implementation all marketing activities across the business - to include branding, events, creative services, social media and marketing materials.
- Working with our COO and Marketing Manager to create content on use cases for our technology, creating customer case studies and social media content.
- Keeping up to date on the latest technological developments in flood forecasting and resilience building and inputting this into making meaningful marketing activity for our business.
- Organising events for partners and clients.
- Maintenance of all marketing MI.
- General administration for sales and marketing department.

**Person Specification**

You should demonstrate competence in all the following:

- Degree in a related discipline
- Marketing experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Social media management expertise
- A skill for translating technical topics and making them digestible for various audiences.
- Passion for reducing the impact of natural hazards globally
- Interest in the latest science and technology
- Creativity and enthusiasm to create new opportunities
- A tenacity and drive meet or exceed targets
- Initiative and organisational skills to start things from scratch

**Pay and working arrangements**
- Up to £30K p.a. plus share options in the company.
- The position is based in London office although we will consider flexible working arrangements. The applicant will need to have the right to work in the UK.
