For our company in
**L'Aquila**, we are looking for a
**R&D Analytical Development Expert.**

The
**R&D Analytical Development Expert** is responsible for the characterization of biomolecules and small molecules by means of chromatographic and mass spectrometry techniques, the development and validation of chromatographic methods applicable to active and formulated ingredients to be used in Phase I projects or to biological matrices to be analyzed in bio-analytical studies focused on the evaluation of ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion).

**Main areas of responsibilities**
- Manage and provide for the maintenance, control and qualification of laboratory systems.
- In the context of studies conducted in accordance with GLP/GCLP, assume the role of analyst.
- Draft and revise analysis monographs and operating procedures relating to the activities of competence.
- Analysis of raw materials and formulations.
- Dosing of analytes in biological matrices in accordance with GLP/GCLP standards.
- Provide reporting of analytical studies.
- Interact with the researchers of the other departments as part of a project team, reporting to the line manager the commitments and schedules established and ensuring compliance with the directives and timing.
- Provide training for newly hired personnel.

**Education**
- Degree in scientific disciplines preferably Chemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology or Biological Sciences.

**Technical Expertise**
- Computer skills: MS Office; Instrumental management software.
- Liquid chromatography techniques (HPLC-UV/FL; UPLC-UV).
- Mass spectrometry techniques.
- Classical chemical analysis techniques.
- Techniques for data processing and statistics.
- Other instrumental techniques (spectrophotometric, potentiometric etc.).
- GMP, GLP and GCLP standards.

**Further Requirements**
- Languages: Italian and English (fluent).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation.
- Decision making and problem solving.
- Discretion.
- Result orientation/Pragmatism.
- Communication.
- Learning orientation and professional skills enhancement.
