**Consultant specialist in Life Science | Roma**

The Consultant will work together with the Partner, the Director and the Senior Consultants heading the relevant practice within the firm. In particular, he/she will have to manage projects of advocacy, lobbying and coalition building both at a national and regional level.

The Consultant is required to be skilled in monitoring the legislative, regulatory and policy activity in the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities with special regards to the life sciences field, as well as in developing analysis reports, memos and position papers aimed at the Clients of the firm. In addition, the Consultant should be skilled in legislative drafting.

Mandatory requirements include:

- 2/3 years of experience in Public Policy or Government Affairs roles at consulting firms, corporations or trade associations focusing in particular on healthcare and pharmaceutical issues
- health practice, from the hospital sector to the university sector, biomedical research and care services
- Strong academic record. Law, Economics or Political Science degrees preferred;
- Fluent English (strictly required, min. level C1) as well as fluent Italian;
Other Requirements include:

- Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at National and regional level;
- Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage;
- Ability to translate between the specialist languages of business and politics;
- Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, ability to work as a professional. It also requires the ability to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
