Junior Trader

**As a Junior Trader, you will become responsible for**:

- Supporting the Sales Manager with refined and crude oil sales in the domestic and export markets
- Managing contracts and negotiating backlogs and financing charges if they appear
- Visiting customers on a regular basis (accompanying your manager), developing long-term relationships and providing advice
- Following up on receivables and optimizing working capital and ROIC
- Collecting and analyzing market information and engaging in the Italian vegetable oils to drive better decision making
- Coordinating with internal and external partners to optimize production capacities and margins
- Reporting sales, risk credits, P&L and trade log
- Attending fairs and events in Italy and other locations
- Widening the portfolio of clients in different segments (food, feed, industry) and increasing oil sales

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A university degree (Master or Bachelor) in business, agricultural sciences, food science or another related field
- Decision-making and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Italian and English. Other languages (French, Spanish and German) are an advantage
- Team leadership, analysis and conflict resolution, entrepreneurship and results orientation competencies
- Flexibility and adaptability to different tasks and challenges
- A willingness to learn and grow with Bunge
- Residing in the area of Ravenna or willing to move there
- You are eligible to work in Italy
- A strong interest in the food sector and curiosity about the market dynamics
- Empathy and ability to manage feedback

This role is very hands-on and will help you to get introduced to commercial activities and get the crucial tools to accurately take decisions one day. You will work with a manager who loves to give free space and independence to his team members, but also provides constructive feedback on how to improve. This role requires commitment, mental energy, ability to work under pressure and dedication. You will not just sell on the stock exchange, but you will need to look at supply, logistics and other aspects of the business and get a good view on the company and its industrial operations.
