Within the GCAP Joint Venture, in the Strategy & Innovation Area, we are looking for an **_I_**_ntellectual Property Manager _**for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK).

This role is key to support and foster and to run the relationship with the engineering department in the creation of IP assets and know how.
- Support the Head of IP in development of IP strategy and other activities;
- Building effective relationships at all levels within the business so as to become an integral part of the business value proposition;
- Support the development of IP training and increasing IP awareness across the JV;
- Responsible for relationship with Engineering discipline to Capture and protect innovation and know-how;
- Responsible for IP Risk Monitoring, research and analysis;
- Responsible for IP intelligence, including related technology analysis, providing reports to Engineering and Legal functions;
- Proactively engage with the others colleagues reporting to the of Head of IP to support management of IP disputes, including by providing IP infringement & validation studies, worldwide trademark search and reporting and through IP data research and analysis, and by playing a key role in both defining a desired outcome for such disputes and in ongoing dispute resolution work.

**Hard skills**:

- Proven expertise on intellectual property.
- High level technical expertise. Experience in the aerospace and electronic domains is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of IP searching (including novelty, freedom to operate, competitor’s portfoliosearches and trademark searches) using various toolsets, including public databases.
- Experience providing technical support (searches etc) to IP disputes.
- In house experience of delivering practical guidance and advice to Engineering, and other functions.
- Defence sector experience is desirable but not essential.
- STEM degree or equivalent experience.

- Track record of successfully completing complex projects in a timely and effective manner.

All'interno della Joint Venture GCAP, nell'area Strategy & Innovation, siamo alla ricerca di un/una **_Intellectual Property Manager _**da inserire nell’HQ a **Reading (UK).**

Questo ruolo è fondamentale per promuovere e gestire la relazione con il dipartimento di ingegneria nella creazione di asset di intellectual property (IP) e know-how.

In particolare, la persona che selezioneremo si occuperà delle seguenti attività:

- Supportare il Responsabile della Proprietà Intellettuale (Head of IP) nello sviluppo della strategia IP e in altre attività;
- Costruire relazioni efficaci a tutti i livelli all'interno dell'azienda, al fine di diventare parte integrante della proposta di valore del business;
- Supportare lo sviluppo di programmi formativi sulla proprietà intellettuale e aumentare la consapevolezza dell’importanza dell’IP all'interno della joint venture (JV);
- Essere responsabile della relazione con il dipartimento di Ingegneria per catturare e proteggere l'innovazione e il know-how;
- Monitorare i rischi legati alla proprietà intellettuale, svolgendo attività di ricerca e analisi;
- Gestire l’intelligence IP, inclusa l’analisi delle tecnologie correlate, fornendo report ai dipartimenti di Ingegneria e Legale;
- Collaborare attivamente con gli altri colleghi che riportano al Respo
