**Mechanical Designer**:

In this role you are a team member as designer, and will work together as a team with your teamcoach, engineers and other designers to develop machines which are adapted to the needs of the customer. Furthermore you will discuss design, with purchasing, production and service. In this role you are reporting to the Teamleader Engineered solutions

Below list shows an overview of tasks and responsibilities:

- (concept-) design in 3D-CAD of chiller, coolers layout and components: design can contain piping, castings, machine parts, sheet metal,(Inventor)
- Detailed design in 2D
- First strength analysis on designs if experienced in it (FEA)
- Follow-up of the design in the different phases
- Delegate repetitive and standard design to an internal design studio (Gecia)
- Follow-up of the design in production when needed
- Support other departments (service, production, purchasing ) the company with technical information
- Create and keep technical information updated (drawings, bill-of-material, purchase specifications and technical agreements)
- Final release of drawings, BOM’s, documentation and instructions for production in the PLM system (ENOVIA and BPCS)

After you have gained knowledge in the products you will cooperate with your colleagues, from production and service, to solve problems related to the technical specification.

**Experience requirements**

Experience in a design and development environment is a plus
Experience with the chiller technology is a plus
Experience as designer is a plus

Strong interest in concept-design

**Knowledge**

Fluent in Italian and good command of English.
A good general technical knowledge
Knowledge and interest of 2D and 3D CAD like Autocad and Inventor. Affinity with mechanical design and calculations/simulations

**Educational requirements**

Bachelor degree in Engineering, or equal through experience.
