Student and Academic Support Lead

Milano Fashion Institute a leading graduate University school, based in Milan, is looking for an enthusiastic Advisor to coordinate and deliver the operational Student journey, from the orientation services, to the selection and enrolment processes, ensuring a smooth, complete, and conscious educational journey for all the Students.

The role is an will directly report to the Head of Academic Affairs, ensuring a smooth educational journey for all the Master and Short Courses’ Students, and in direct contact with different functions of the Institute, from the University Academic Committee to the Communication Team.

The Student and Academic Support Lead will carry out key operational tasks related to each learner’s journey in conjunction with key stakeholders across the business. This includes.
- communications to prospect students and external stakeholders, advising on educational programs and mentoring students;
- managing and responding in a timely manner to queries;
- providing an effective phone orientation service experience to prospect students, supporting them in the evalutaion process and in their following progress;
- providing information, support and advice on academic and non-academic queries (including for example: educational goals, programs features, selection procedures, Institute policies, finance and funding, learning support) and coordinating with the appropriate departments if needed;
- to maintain accurate records on the students’ journeys and orientation activities, recording data very accurately;
- ensuring the smooth administrative processes related to the selection, with report to the Academic Committee, and further enrolment, with direct contact with University Stakeholders.
The goal is to provide the most complete information and lead orientative support to prospect students, and to permit admitted students to complete the necessary steps in order to register on their programme in a timely, complete and correct manner.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken (official language of Milano Fashion Institute);
- With very good knowledge of Office Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point;
- Able to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally, inside a multi-cultural context;
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and growing environment;
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude;
- With entrepreneurial attitude, and appropriate time management skills;
- Able to work independently and in small teams, requiring to perform from time to time other eventual duties;
- Flexible and willing to learn;
- Able to produce quickly and prolifically.
