**Software And System Engineer**

Serve as a Software and Systems engineer for Combine Harvester agricultural machinery.

This position involves:

- creating the requirements for new and current products in order to permit the design and the validation of the electrical hardware and control software of the combine harvester
- providing embedded software solutions (C/C++ or model-based) to ensure superior performance, durability, reliability and quality

**What You Will Do**:

- Create System Detailed Design Specifications and Interface Control Specifications for functional systems
- Requirements specification design reviews, risk analysis, and system DFMEAs
- Coordination of Safety Reviews (Systems) according the ISO25119
- Define and validate the integration of internal and external supplier' components into harvesting equipment
- Specify required sensors and or develop sensors with internal and external suppliers
- Interface to the electrical and mechanical design teams to define required interfaces and requirements
- Assist testers engineers or another department (eg. production) with problem analysis and resolutions

**What You Will Bring**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
- 2-year experience in development or validation of off road or agricultural equipment, automotive and aircraft
- English knowledge at level B2-C1
- Knowledge of CAN Bus communication for agricultural machinery (e.g. ISO11789, SAE J1939)
- Experience on using a software version control tool (e.g. SVN, GitHub)
- Experience on using an Application Lifecycle Management tool (e.g Polarion)
- Experience in a structured development environment
- Experience with Vector CANoe or CANalyzer

**A Plus If You Have**
- Knowledgeable about machinery, automotive, aviation, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Experience with defining software and hardware interfaces
- Knowledge of Safety Standards for machinery (e.g. ISO12100, ISO25119)
- Experience with developing real-time embedded machine control software using C and C++
- Experience with Object Oriented software development.
