**Logistics Assistant**:
Join an Exciting Team Managing Global Shipping and Customs Operations

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role at the forefront of managing shipping and customs activities on a global scale? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Milan for a one-year project, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods for our projects worldwide.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Coordination**: Lead the coordination of shipping and customs activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while mitigating risks of damage and delays.
**Document Management**: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for shipping and customs compliance, including import/export requirements and transit procedures.
**Reporting**: Generate shipping and customs reports tailored to project needs, maintaining accurate records and archives for future reference.
**Procedural Development**: Develop and implement project-specific procedures for shipping, customs, and packaging, optimizing efficiency and compliance.
**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with project material managers, expediting departments, freight forwarders, and customs agents to plan and execute shipping activities seamlessly.
**Specialized Cargo Handling**: Coordinate studies and preparations for abnormal cargoes, ensuring all necessary documentation and procedures are in place.
**IT Systems Management**: Utilize and maintain Saipem IT systems effectively, ensuring accurate and timely data management and reporting.
**Financial Oversight**: Review and approve invoices from freight forwarders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.

**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and ability to adapt to other IT systems as needed.
**Industry Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and customs operations within the industry.
**Language Proficiency**: Fluency in both Italian and English, both spoken and written, to facilitate seamless communication within our global team.
