As the LIS-LAS Italian R&D Manager, reporting to the R&D Head, you will be responsible for:

- Management of multiple R&D Teams among a Dedalus regional organisation, promoting agile methods and continuous improvements
- Support the Product Management team regarding the rgional roadmap and objectives acting ad interim as a Product Manager if needed for the concerned products
- Diffuse among the teams the products roadmap and objectives, identifying the best ways to achieve them with the Team Leaders
- Help the teams address the most critical and strategic projects, assist the Team Leaders on their everyday work
- Promote team working, agile methods and continuous improvement
- Manage resource and skills needs, work on budget projection with the PBU head
- Maintain an overview of the competence matrix of the teams
- Promote skills sharing among the teams
- Identify cross-teams projects initiatives
- Support cooperation between all IVD teams in general
- Identify the trade-offs between the delivery of new features, product maintenance and technical debt reduction
- Identify potential tools or components that could work on a transversal level among several products

Your Profile
- Strong leadership, ability to push people up, promoting their skills
- Fluency in quality management regarding R&D processes and methods
- Initiative spirit in finding efficient methods and organization
- Ability to communicate and synchronize information efficiently among multi-cultural and international teams
- Willing to be part of the new Dedalus Diagnostic solution setup and internationalization
- Knowledge of diagnostic processes in particular of the LIS
- Knowledge of the national and regional healthcare information systems in which diagnostic solutions operate in Italy
- Knowledge of IVDR regulation and impact on software lifecycle
- Experience in R&D Leadership required
- Agile methods knowledge required
- Fluent Italian and English are required. French is an asset.
- Availability to occasional business trips, mainly in Europe
